Bollywood Copies From Hollywood

I have been thinking of writing an article like this for a while.I have spend a lot of time on this article.What made me write this was the pathetic condition of our Indian Entertainment Industry.Every time I `try` to watch a new movie or listen to a song,and when found that movie or song resembles another,my frustration and ire towards Bollywood goes up.As an Indian,we all look up towards Bollywood and other Indian Entertainment Firms for our own entertainment.And when they feed the people their `rubbish`,and the people call them back their heroes, it all seems utter madness...

BOLLYWOOD...it is the world`s second largest film industry.Second only to Hollywood.About 800 films are made in Bollywood every year.But the bad side of it is,every 8 out of 10 films made are copied from other films mainly Hollywood.May be the name Bollywood came from Bombay + Hollywood.

In Bollywood Amitabh Bachan is considered a great actor.But what is he doing?What is the south `Super Star`,Rajni Kanth doing?Most of these films are hits.If a foreigner see one of these `super hit`movies, what should he be thinking of the people who watch this crap film and make it a big success?

In Kerala few years back,the people talked about the `foolish tamilans ` and their `foolish heroes`.Their action scenes were great comedies for the Malayalees.But these days,such crap movies are great success in Kerala.When such a film was released recently in Kerala, the people packed the theaters,all of which run house full for days.There were also gate crashing,black market tickets (4 times double the normal rate),police lathi charge against the large crowds,and long hours waitng in the queue.All these hardships was to see their hero,who could `held` a bullet shot at him,who race with a bus in his horse chariot and wins,who kicks a football which fells 6-7 of the villians and returns back towards him like a boomerang...

And Bollywood is no better.Amitabh Bachan says Abhishek has "succeeded" without his influence.How many new comers to Bollywood can star in 6 consecutive flop movies - and still get acting offers? Stop the dynasty. Actors in Hollywood go to acting school. In India if you are a model or you are a star-child - you got yourselves a career. While there are hundreds of poor theater actors trying to get a break.

Indian movies show an India and Indians that do not exist. Palatial buildings in which party-goers land on helicopters do not exist for ANY Indians.Have you ever heard of thugs (women included) robing a bank and then escaping in their super bikes...Suzuki Hayabusa,Yamaha R1...all these in our India(to see this un imaginable,watch Dhoom.)

Subash Ghai even said he is targeting his movies solely towards NRIs and foreign audiences. For that, his movies repeatedly flop.

Indian movies` current situation is advantageous to talentless people and the star dynasties. It is an aristocracy in Bollywood.
